Stress corrosion failure of vacuum dryer which features

Stress corrosion cracking (SCC for short or stress corrosion cracking) is sensitive to stress corrosion of materials in environment and cracking under tensile stress occurs. Stress corrosion cracking is a phenomenon of subcritical crack growth, crack initiation, crack into a subcritical extending and remaining sections final overload fracture in three stages. Stress corrosion corrosion is weak, the stress level is also lower than the yield strength of the material, so that the material surface with no apparent corrosion, materials no plastic deformation and stress corrosion cracking are very slender, very hard to find, so prone to sudden cracking, resulting in serious consequences.
